Your
Mailing List
If you are an existing
customer, please follow
these suggestions to
modify your list:
Request your list be
emailed to you from our
On-Line Report Ordering
Page. Once you have your
list, follow the
instructions in the READ
ME that comes with your
mailing list. You can
then edit your list as
follows:
DELETE A RECORD, simply
delete the entire record
(click the row number on
the left side of the
worksheet and press
DELETE on your keyboard.
ADD A NEW ADDRESS, you
simply use 000001 as the
reference number (that
tells our system it is a
new record and it will
automatically assign the
next available record
number to it) and fill
in ALL 14 FIELDS. That
means that in columns I,
J, K, L, M and N you
would simply enter a 0
(that is a zero). Every
record in your file must
have all 14 fields. All
new addresses can be
added at the end of the
file, you do not have to
put them with their
respective streets or
areas.
CORRECT AN ADDRESS, just
make the corrections to
the address record.
That is all there is to
it! When you are done,
export the file from
Excel as a Text - tab
delimited file and email
it to:
list@funddrive.com with
your instructions on
what to do with it, i.e.
replace the current
list, etc.
For new customers: if
you have a mailing list
or access to a mailing
list, you can send it to
us as an Excel file with
the name, address,
apartment, city, state
and zip code. Also, if
you want to send
different donation
requests to different
areas within your
district, then you will
need to include some way
to separate those
addresses. A suggestion
(and the default
configuration) is for
residents to be area 1,
apartments to be area 2,
businesses to be area 3
and non-resident owners
to be area 4.
You can ask your
sales representative for
more information about
areas and how using them
can INCREASE your
revenue!
IF you don't
have a mailing list, we
can purchase a list for
your area. In order to
do so, we need the zip
code(s) and carrier
route numbers (if you
split a zip code with
another organization).
Your sales
representative can help
you decide if this is a
good option for you to
consider.
